San Francisco's Hottest Cold Case : Part 2

Cocaine at the crime scene?

Part Two

This one is about a new discovery I made. I guess the investigation and the revelations are never going to stop

Is that cocaine on the steps and on wall next to Andy’s left hand?

BLOCKBUSTER NEWS: COCAINE AT THE CRIME SCENE?

Q: What took so long to notice the cocaine (or heroin) on the stairs of the murder scene?

A: I couldn't look at the photos. I could barely bring myself to quickly glance at them. It was too disturbing.

NOTICE that in this crime scene photo (and the others as well), the white powder is only seen on these two steps underneath my dad and on the wall by his left hand. It appears that he's clutching the source for the white stuff in his hand, maybe a baggie or some other container. When my dad was attacked, he was sitting on the stairs, and likely a little too drunk to stand up or defend himself.

THE BIG QUESTION is, if this is narcotics, why was it not mentioned in any police reports or notes taken by the homicide detectives? In fact, the standard procedure would be to take note of the mysterious substance found and then document the results of tests.

If there weren't some of the powder by his hand, I'd have a little more doubt. But that white stuff is only by his hand - nowhere else on the wall - and on the steps below him.

About this podcast:

True Crime doesn't get any more personal: I am the surviving son of a murder victim. This story is about a 40-year police cover-up I first exposed in a 2023 book. The SFPD was more than happy to let us go to our graves, not knowing any of the facts surrounding my dad's murder. But our family wouldn't give up; we wouldn't stop pushing, and the facts and the truth just kept on coming.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I’d seen the author’s work in OZY but was blown away by this book. It’s SUCH a great read, written from the heart! Full of interest for those historians of the hippie generation, North Beach, corrupt cops, mobbed up pols, and San Francisco in general. Very well written and paced up to the last pages. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. Buy this book now!" - Amazon review
